Penn for Youth Debate

Penn For Youth Debate is excited to start its Spring 2012 volunteer program! If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please email pfyd@pfyd.org. Happy Spring Semester!

PFYD is delighted to announce that the first annual Fall LD Round Robin was a success! Students from across the east coast – from New York to Florida – came to campus to engage in high-level debates, and get a taste for the Ivy-League experience.

Students were first taken on a campus tour when they arrived late Friday afternoon, then taken to a local hot-spot for dinner. They were invited to stay in the dorms of PFYD Exec members where they had the chance to talk about Penn and college life (and work on their cases!). The next day, students competed in 7 intense and well-matched rounds, followed by one round of finals.

We’re happy to announce that Josh Feinzig took first place AND best speaker, but congrats to all debaters who did a fantastic job.
